Black and Gold Chevron French Tips!

Guess what everybody!!

Today is the last day to enter my 200 follower giveaway! Quick! Get entered! :D

Here's the manicure I just finished up. Sorry it's a bit overcast today! But I still managed to catch the glimmer of my Cover Girl Pink Twinkle.

The tips are done with NYC Flat Iron Green (very very dark) and then the whole nail is gone over using Cover Girl Pink Twinkle. Then I used China Glaze Midnight Kiss (gold) and a fine paintbrush to accent the chevron tip, and then the same polish with my largest dotting tool for a dot at the tip of each chevron.

Then a smaller dot of Claire's Black Hole to give the chevron the look of jewelry or a curling ribbon, and my black Art Deco to delineate the chevron. One coat of Seche Vite and voila! Dressy nails. :P Now, where shall I go?

Thanks everyone and good luck in the giveaway! I hope to contact the lucky winner by Monday morning!

  1. freehanded that?! I'm super impressed. It's simple but elegant. Very much a win!

  2. Yes I did! Thank you! :D <3

  3. Super pretty, I love chevron designs!

  4. Looks great! I love it. :)

  5. Love the chevron, and I'm envious of the length of your nails.

  6. Oh wow, these are fab. Hrmm, I think that with nails like that you should get the hubby to take you out to a nice dinner and maybe dancing.

  7. Thanks you guys!

Alikat: I don't know how I did it. They usually break or peel like crazy before they get this long. And I've been doing yard work and weaving at my tapestry loom etc. All the daily stuff. No complaints here! :P

Anita! Dinner and dancing sounds so SO nice!

  8. It looks like fancy Egyptian head wear to me.
    I really like it :)

I tagged you with the Sunshine Award :)

  9. I love Pink Twinkle, and this looks awesome! I forgot how good your freehand nail art is!
